Kansas
Focusing on central Kansas, specifically the geologic area of the Central Kansas Uplift, Tengasco currently has approximately 30,250 acres leased containing 14,760 acres held by production (HBP) and 15,490 undeveloped acres. Exploration and Development has been focused on, but not limited to, ten central counties. Of these, Rooks County contains 57% of the companies actively producing 184 wells. The remaining 73 wells, making up 257 total well bores, are service wells. Two primary formations, the Arbuckle (Ordovician) and Lansing (Mississippian), contain the main oil producing zones which produced 231,598 Bbl in 2008, giving the company Net Oil reserves of $1,239,940 Bbl (proved) at YE2008.
